A little about myself, I am 27 and employed with Manitoba Telecom Services as a network system specialist. My primary role at MTS is a Solaris Unix Administrator. I am responsible for approximately 20 Sun Workstations and 25 Sun Enterprise class servers. I also manage the NOC center NIS domain and corporate Intranet. We run Apache webservers, MySQL, Oracle 7 database servers, and PHP for web database connectivity. I recently upgraded to the new PHP 4.0 (Zend) engine. So far I like what I see.
For hobbies, I like to golf, watch hockey, play pool and read.
My favorite magazines are Maxim, Stuff, Internet World, Popular Mechanics, Popular Science.
That is all I have to say at this time, check back periodically I hope to add some more dynamic content in the near future.
