I'm just in the process of making this page and will be updating it as I can find time (i.e. don't expect anything fancy just yet). Details about myself... I'm 25 years old and currently employed by Manitoba Hydro. I work in the HVDC Engineering department and my designs involve everything from high voltage apparatus installations to fiber-optic networking and operator interfaces. Most of my work is installed at Dorsey Converter Station, seen here. It's the south end station of Manitoba Hydro's two DC Bipoles. See the map for a better idea... I really enjoy working with computer networks and hope to find work in Calgary, Alberta doing just that, as soon as I complete my Masters degree. (or I may just move there and complete my thesis at U of C) I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in electrical engineering in 1997. Since then I have enrolled in the Master of Science program and have been working on it part time. I recently decided on my Masters thesis project and details of it can be found here.
