Louis,

I believe you can do:

ipx route default 23.1.1.1

In my experience, you need a next hop address.  When I have tried to do a
default route out an interface, it gives me an error message saying ipxwan in
not configured.

Should be:

ipx route default AA.0012.3456.7890

where AA is a local network and the host address is a neighbor router on
that IPX net.
